But that's not all, the connector also comes with:

This article explains how to update your existing dashboards and benefit from these advantages.

Steps to update existing dashboards:
- Download the latest version of the connector and install
- Update Data Exchange on Forma (optional, but ensures best loading times)
- In Power BI, reload the data exchange
- Load the new Viewer as a custom visual—it is installed in the following folder: %USERPROFILE%\Documents\Power BI Desktop\Custom Visuals
- In the last step, replace the Viewer visual on the dashboard:
- Select the viewer
- While the viewer is selected, select the new viewer in Visualizations
The dashboard should now respond significantly faster and support the new features.
The verify the viewer version, selecting the visual on the dashboard and check the About box of the highlighted visual in the Visualizations pane:
