Autodesk has published two reports with hardware requirements for Revit 2014. Both reports are in English and can be accessed via the following links:

In the first white paper, the requirements for the PC hardware are explained in detail and divided into three price/performance categories according to model size and complexity. The Revit server and the Citrix environment are also considered.
The white paper also contains valuable tips on modeling and management that significantly improve the performance of Revit models.
The second white paper is specifically intended for Mac users who use Revit or Windows via Bootcamp or Parallels. Autodesk is officially only testing virtualization with Parallels, but I have personally had very good experiences with VMware Fusion.
Have fun reading! ; )
