Autodesk University Germany in Darmstadt was only a few days ago, and we're already off to the next big European event - the RTC in Dublin! I'm very happy to be there this year and I'm looking forward to lots of interesting input - and especially to the many dynamo presentations and workshops!<\/p>\n

But Darmstadt should not be forgotten too quickly - it was a great event and it definitely shows that AU Germany is slowly \"growing up\", not least because Autodesk CEO Carl Bass himself gave a very inspiring keynote speech.<\/p>\n

I saw many interesting presentations in Darmstadt, met many Revit cracks again and also got to know a few new ones. You can watch most of the presentations on autodesk-university.com<\/a> under 'Review' as a video or download the presentation documents.<\/p>\n My highlights were In the run-up to the AU, Autodesk also offered the opportunity to get certified - the Autodesk certifications are very common abroad and a good additional qualification, but still relatively unknown in Germany - probably also because they are partly only available in English. The certification fee is normally around \u20ac200, but was completely waived as part of the AU - of course I couldn't pass it up and took the Revit Architecture 2015 exam! It is a two-hour test in which various questions have to be answered using the multiple choice method. For most of the questions, it is necessary to complete certain tasks in Revit in parallel in order to arrive at the correct answer. Last but not least, I was also able to give a presentation on the topic of plan representation in Revit. \n- the examination of the parts in Revit by Oliver Langwich (very clear and practical)
\n- Hangar 7 as an example of successful interaction between architect and structural engineer Srecko Sljivic and Holger Schultz

\nThe questions cover all areas of Revit and are appropriate and quite easy to master in the 2 hours! If you answer at least 83% of the questions correctly, you can call yourself a Revit Certified Professional.
