Revit Ideas - Make Revit great (again)

Have you heard of Revit Ideas heard of? This is a platform of our development where everyone has the opportunity to suggest new Revit functions, whereupon the whole community can vote for this topic by giving "likes".

Unfortunately, I keep hearing from Revit users that this "doesn't help anyway" - but have you ever looked at how many points are on the Revit Roadmap come exactly from the Revit Ideas? I've just counted it up - 32 out of 62 points are Revit Ideas! It's useless, my ass! 😉

What is important when writing ideas?

  • Always use the search first to make sure that no similar entry already exists - otherwise it is always better to cast your vote there than to make a new entry that starts from 0 again.
  • Describe the request in English and as clearly as possible so that everyone can understand it - it's best to add some screenshots and explain the background.
  • Share your idea with colleagues and on social media - every like counts and only requires that you log in with your free Autodesk ID.

To draw your attention to current topics, I will now present a Revit Idea every week in the sidebar on the right and hope that you will all help to make Revit even better!
