New features in Revit 2015 - my TOP5

Revit 2015 is just around the corner and the overview of the new features already provides many reasons to look forward to it. Here are my TOP 5 of the new functions, as well as a few further links:

 1. link IFC files
Previously, it was only possible to import IFC files, whereby all elements were converted into Revit families. From 2015, it is now possible to link an IFC file directly. If changes are made to the IFC file, the link is updated in the same way as for other linked formats.

2. change the order of attributes in families
How often have we been annoyed by the fact that you can't sort the attributes when creating families - from 2015 this is a thing of the past, the attributes can now be sorted manually!

3. images in component lists
The component lists can now be supplemented with image files, allowing better overviews of the products used in the project to be created.

4. general improvements to the component lists
The component lists should now offer more control options and access to parameters that were previously not available.

5. sketchy lines
Architects will be delighted - the 3D views are now also available in a sketch-like representation, similar to SketchUp, for example.

Revit is to be launched on 11.4. be officially published.
